Ahnwyn is currently a junior in college at Pitzer College. She founded Project Baby Love because she saw "a space that needed to be filled when it came to empowering low-income NICU families and BIPOC mothers."
"I have always been passion-driven but I couldn’t single down on what exactly I was passionate about. So, when I heard about PBL and its amazing cause, I knew this was the project I wanted to be part of, this was the project I wanted to dedicate time to, and these were the people I wanted to help."
"After I became a father of a 7 months old girl in Nakivale refugee settlement I realized how many refugees women are suffering when it comes to giving birth and the majority of them are so vulnerable when it comes to buying blankets and clothes for their babies.When I heard about PBL from Ahnwyn I wanted to join."
Divyashree is from India and joined PBL because of her profound love of children. She believes that children are the leaders of tomorrow and that PBL is helping create these leaders.
Awatif is originally from Iraq but has lived in the US for the past 7 years. Now that she is a member of PBL, Awatif hopes "to reach as many people as possible & help PBL expand globally." In her free time, Awatif loves to paint and read historical books.
